There are so many vacant seats in National Institute of Technology NITs and IIITs even after the 7th round of online AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination)counseling. Many students had forgot to lock the choices so they missed it.
Now there is one more opportunity for them. The 8th (eight) round of counsellings is to be conducted only for those who want to participate. I think it is the last round of counseling. So if you want then you will have to register again and fill your choices.

Plastic Currency Notes | Indian Rupees

Reserve Bank of India published Rupees10 polymer notes recently. The note is made of polymers (plastic) in the place of normal cotton notes. Yes the notes we use today are made of pure cotton not paper. The plastic notes have the life spam of 5 years which is 5 times greater than normal notes. It doesn't get dirty. RBI distroys thousands of currency notes every day. We have been facing currency problems.
The plastic notes cant be copied. So, it will help us to get rid of fake notes. some pirates from pak are

nowadays supplying fake notes which is hard to differentiate. My friend Akhilesh went to bank to save some money. When he went to the counter the cashier took out a Rupees 500 note and tore off. It was fake note. My friend could not know that is fake. Check carefully before taking and giving notes.

Brainport for Blinds | How can lollipop help blinds to see? | Assisting

Ah! I can see the world.

It is not less then a MIRACLE that now blinds can see their surroundings with this innovation. Scientists of WICAB Inc. got success in developing a gadget called BRAINPORT which demonstrated the ability to interpret images for human brain. Brianport has three parts. A camera is fitted on the mid of the goggle. The tiny camera picks up the images and videos and send it to a hand held device - control unit (looks like a cellphone or mobile). The chip embedded in control unit then converts the images into electronic pulses. The contrast and zoom can be adjusted by the given buttons on the control unit or control panel of the brainport. A lollipop kind of stick, which sits on the tongue in order to receive signals, is placed inside the mouth. The stick is made up of an array of electrodes. The lollipop stick receives the impulses and transfers it to the nerve cells of the tongue. Then the brain recognizes the images in the form of pixels and polygonal. The images are slitely monochromatic.
Its only helpful for them whose optical path in the brain is working.

Within a day of practice any blind can easily handle the brainport. Its like a child learns to see after birth. Reading is not possible but signatures can be read. Blinds can walk on the road avoiding obstacles, being assisted by brainport. Brainport will make watchdogs, helpers and the white sticks needless.

The estimated price of brainport is $10000. I hope it to be affordable, so all blinds can use it and delight their lives.

Nowadays colleges have made laptop (notebook or netbook) compulsory. They have made it their sidebussiness to sell laptops from college. Dont buy laptop from college if it is of IBM or ACER,HP. I advice students to buy only laptop of DELL,MSI or LENEVO.
DELL LAPTOPS are having good configration. Dell studio and DELL Studio have good look too. It has 512 MB graphics card. The LCD screen has good contrast ratio. DELL netbook bundles windows vista and allows to upgrade to windows 7. And don't forget to buy a wifi dongle, through which you can access internet wirelessly in your college.

Whenever you open a new tab in your browser. Instead of opening a blank page it opens Google Chrome type page. Which shows the tile view of the most visited web-pages same as Google crome.

When you set up your email client you are asked to select your email-server type. The common email clients support the following email servers.
Post Office Protocol (POP3) server holds the emails until you download them from your server. When you download the emails it is permanently deleted from server. Use POP3 if you access emails form a particular system.

Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) server allows you to read, forward emails without downloading the email in your system. If you read or download any message then one copy of your email is always stored in email servers. It’s helpful for them who use multiple systems and want to access their messages.

You should be careful when configuring an email client. If you use POP3 you always have a risk of hard disk crash and need to backup your emails frequently (like i faced with outlook express). Well it’s a good idea to configure your email client to IMAP server.
If you use MS Outlook, have some change. I use Windows Live Mail. You can download it from http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview. With live mail you get live writer (for blogging), live messenger (IM) etc. If you have created some filters which keeps those filtered mails in separate folder (viz. Hotmail, Live mail), the window live mail takes care of it. It makes separate folders for filters in the client as you used in hotmail’s website.

Do you know Google took part in celebrating the Solar Eclipse? Google did some noticeable changes on its homepage on July 22. Google changed its logo. There was dark sky in the background and one of ‘o’ was illustrated as the sun covered by the moon. However the logo was too dark. How To Change Icon of CD, DVD and Pen Drives

Now showcase your CD, DVD and pen drives that you are the owner by setting an icon for it. (like I do)

First of all you have to choose an icon by downloading it from free online open sources like www.crystalxp.net, vistaIcons.com, walrick.deviantART.com, creativecommons.org, and you can search more icons from the search engines like Google, yahoo, bing or facility.

The icon files would be in the extension of .ico or .dll.

Do you want to create your own icon? Then make an image file (jpeg or png) of your logo, your name, any character, cartoon, your photo or anything. Open this image file in any image editor like Irfan View (I recommend because I found it the best, free, open source, most popular but you can choose any other if you wish) www.irfanview.net. Now, save the file with an extension of .ico and name it “myicon.ico”.

Now, copy and paste this icon file into your pen drive, DVD or any other removable devices.

The most important step is to create a configuration file.

Open notepad and type the following code:

[autorun]

Icon=myicon.ico

Now, save the file and name it autorun.inf with the extension .inf.

Then copy the file “autorun.inf” and paste the file in your removable devices (CD, DVD, or Pen drives). Now, remove your pen drive or burn your DVD with the above two files we’ve created.

The next time you plug-in your pen drive or insert the CD or DVD, what do you see. Now impress your boss, friends and them who use you CD or DVD. If you fail to create the autorun.inf or it’s not working you can download the autorun.inf file form here.

Its quiet helpful for candidates that Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg (BIT, durg) has been opened this year in Raipur, which has equal staffs and equal administration. So, I’d like to tell the students who couldn’t get BIT Durg (Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg) shouldn’t be disappointed. You can get Bhilai Institute of Technology Raipur. Only 2 students chose Rungta Group of Colleges the first day of counseling.

It’s better to compromise with college. But, don’t compromise with the branch. Core sectors have enough scope as my friend Ramakant told (he studies at National Institute of Technology (NIT Raipu)r with Chem. branch). However it depends on your interest.

I too appeared for Pre Engineering Test 2009. My counseling date was July 17. I’ve been allotted seat for BIT Durg(Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg) with CS. I’m very happy that my friend Deepesh also got CS in BIT Durg (Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg). My college has been started.

The cg pet counselling process is transparent as there is no quota for ST, SC, and OBC candidates. I really liked it.

Make Your Pen Drive Virus Proof free

If you connect your pen drive or flash disk to any virus infected system then your pen drive to get infected.Then what is it that makes the virus activate when you plug-in your pen drive?
It is the file autorun.inf that makes the virus execute every time you connect your pen drive. And when you try to delete the file manually the virus regenerate the autorun.inf (.inf = information) file.

The question is how to restrict the file to be created?
Well, create a folder on the desktop and name it autorun.inf. Go to the properties of the folder, in General tab enable the check boxes: Hidden, Read Only. Now delete the autorun.inf file form your pen drive and quickly copy and paste the folder we’ve created. Now the file autorun.inf will be restricted until you delete the file.

The above step makes the virus deactivated, but the virus isn’t removed yet.

Sometimes, if your antivirus program even though it is updated, is not able to remove the virus. Or it detects and tries to remove the virus. But, the virus regenerates itself. Now a simple process is to create a folder as described above and name it same as the virus is e.g. Notepad.exe, VirusCleaner.vbe etc.

Windows uses the 20% of your internet bandwidth. If you’re using Microsoft Windows OS genuinely or ..., you are a part of Microsoft development through error reports and all.

Do you want to use 100% bandwidth of your internet connection? If yes !

Follow these steps:

Right click on taskbar then select Task Manager to open “Task Manager”. Then click on file menu then select “New Task (Run)”.
Type "gpedit.msc" with no quotes. This opens the “Group Policy Editor” and goes to: "Local Computer Policy" Go to "Computer Configuration" then "Administrative Templates" then select "Network" then "QoS Packet Scheduler" After that, select "Limit Reservable Bandwidth".
Open Limit Reservable bandwidth, It is “Not Configured” by default. To know the cheat click on Explain tab.
Not Configured means: The Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection."
Now, you have to do is to ENABLE Reservable bandwidth, and then set it to ZERO. This sets the system to reserve nothing instead of the default 20.

The FoxNewsTV (USA) asked the Iranian President Ahmedinejad,

'When you look into the mirror in the morning what do you say to yourself'?

He replied: I see the person in the mirror and tell him 'Remember' you are no more than a small servant, ahead of you today is the heavy responsibility, and that is to serve the Iranian nation'.

Ahmedinejad, the Iranian President who astonished many when he first reached to the office of the Presidency by donating all the high valued Iranian carpets to one of the mosques in Tehran by replacing them with the low cost ordinary carpets. He observed that there was a huge extravagant lounge for receiving and welcoming the VIPs and he ordered it to be closed and asked the protocol office to arrange for an ordinary room only with wooden chairs.

On many instances he joins the cleaning staff of the municipality for cleaning the streets in the area where his home and the Presidency are located.

Under his authority whenever he appoints any minister to his post he gets a signed document from him with many points particularly highlighting that he shall remain poor and that his personal and his relatives accounts will be watched and the day he leaves the ministry shall be with dignity, and therefore it is not lawful for him or his relatives to take any advantage of his office. First of all he declared himself for all the 'Big' wealth and the property he owned was a Peugeot 504 car, model 1977, an old small house inherited from his father 40-years ago in one of the poorest zones in Tehran . His accounts with a zero balance and the only money comes in to his a/c was from his salary from the university as a lecturer with an amount of US$ 250 only.

For your information the President still lives in that same house. This is all what he owns; the president of one of the world's important countries; strategically, economically, politically and with regard to its oil and defense. He even doesn't take his personal salary with the argument that all the wealth belongs to the nation and he is the safeguard over it.
One of the things that impressed the staff at the presidency is the bag the President brings with him every day, which contains his breakfast; some sandwiches or bread with olive oil and cheese prepared by his wife and eats and enjoys it with all happiness.

One of the other things he changed was his personal carrier 'the President's Aircraft' to a cargo aircraft in order to save the spending from the public treasury and he ordered that he will be flying with the ordinary airline in the economy class.. He organizes meetings every now and then with all the ministers to know their activities and efficiency and he closed down the office of the Manager of the president and any minister can enter to his office without any permission. He also stopped the welcome ceremonies like the red carpet, the photo session or any personal advertisement or respect of any kind while visiting any place in the country.

Whenever he has to stay in any of the hotels he asks them to make sure not to give him a room with any big bed because he doesn't like to sleep on beds but rather likes to sleep on the floor on a simple mattress with a blanket..

Refer to some of the photographs which also confirm the above. The Iranian president is sleeping in the guest room of his house after getting away from his special guards who follow him wherever he goes and photo is taken by his younger brother. During the prayer you can see that he is not sitting in the first row. And the final photo is of his dining room where the president is busy eating his simple meal.

Try comparing this with the emoluments and privileges our ministers get ..... plus the amount they loot

More than 5 billion crayons are produced each year

More than 100 billion crayons have been produced so far. The first crayons consisted of a mixture of charcoal and oil. In the early 1900s, cousins Edwin Binney and Harold Smith developed a nontoxic was crayon. Binney’s wife, Alice, attached the French word for chalk, craie, with “ola,” from oily, to form the Crayola name. Their first box of Crayola crayons were sold for a nickel in 1903.

The first Crayola crayons came in a box of eight colours: black, blue, brown, green, orange, purple, red

and yellow. By 1957, 40 new colours were introduced. Today there are more than 120 crayon colours, including Atomic Tangerine, Blizzard Blue, Mango Tango, Outrageous Orange, Laser Lemon, Screamin’ Green and Shocking Pink.

Over 5 billion crayons are produced each year.

A True Horrer Story | A Villager

Oupon a time, my teacher went to a village to attend his friend’s marriage. He was accompanied with some of his more friends. After dinner some boys planned to roam around the village.

They (My teacher and one of his friends) started riding the bike deep into the jungle. Unfortunately then there was power cut. They were not able to see anything as there was power cut all around.

My sir suggested my friend to return back. His friend was ready. When he started riding instead of going back they were leading deep into the woods. Suddenly one break and bike stopped. Petrol finished. Imagine what they would have felt. What was their condition?

My sir directed his friend towards something suspected coming heading toward them. What an horrible situation. Sir described that It was an alien (or ghost) Which had a giant head, wearing white cloth. They were very afraid. His friend moved towards the jungle. My sir though if they leave the path then the ghost will catch them (It is Spoken). He called his friend and went under a tree.

He sat down and closed his eyes. His friend and he had a last hope of god. The ghost was heading towards them. They closed their eyes and started praying.

After some time my sir partially opened his eyes and saw...................

Actually it was a old lady wearing white saree, had a bucket of bamboo on her head which seemed the head of ghost.

It’s an absolutely true story spoken by my teacher 2 months ago.

Somebody wanted to read a blog on ghost.

I'm able to get admission in Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg

for BE in computer science(I think).

Rank all over India - 193866

Category rank - 49728

and state rank -2270

category(state) - 492

May I get admission in NIT, Raipur, Chhattisgarh for BTech in Computer Science?
